Lots of good things come from training with a heart rate monitor. The starting point to determine your Zones is to find your maximum heart rate. There are some good calculators online and I suggest that you NOT use 220 minus your age. There is a fairly significant difference in heart rates between Males and females and the 220-age does not take this into account.

I just stumble across this one which seemed to work well

https://www.walkingwithattitude.com/fitness-tools/heart-rate.

Come along to a Malvern fitness run group sesssion on Saturday at 8am and we can talk heart rates and running after your free trial session :)
