Key running tips:
run tall
hips forward
use your arms to create drive in the direction of travel( hopefully forward)
if you do all of this you should find your feet landing underneath you rather than infront of you.
Deceleration with the foot landing forward of your hips wastes a huge amount of energy.
Don't force the foot strike position though, set it up with thoughtful movements as described.
Why not pump out a k or 2 with your new technique tips.
Avoid hard concrete, tar is actually softer!!
