Malvern runners are ready

Well done to Vanessa and Jane who ran this morning at a foggy Central park, Lynx Personal Training run group session.

Jane has been getting herself set for Melbourne 1/2 marathon coming up in October 2014.

Today Jane clocked up 21+k's in her training run and will hold on to her endurance as we now increase the speed work to compliment her excellent aerobic base.

Vanessa has also been working on her base and is working on strength endurance during interval sets. Today was a 15minute warm-up and Warm down, with a relatively short but high qulaity interval set which gave 18 minutes of intensity running.

The deCastella run is just around the corner and then we set our sights on final training for Melbourne Marathon festival,.

Great work today from some very committed runners who also have plenty on their plates, but still are very regular at mt waverley and Malvern fitness sessions. Well done Jane and Vanessa :)
